Dear Colleagues in Post-Acute and Long-Term Care,

For the 27th year, CMDA – The Colorado Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine is presenting the Annual Conference in collaboration with the Colorado Health Care Association and Colorado Center for Assisted Living (CHCA & CCAL). Coming Together to Create Success in PALTC will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Denver PPA Event Center, 2105 Decatur St., Denver, CO 80211.

We are excited to host a gifted group of local and national experts in post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) for a full-day educational event targeting LTC medical providers, medical directors, surveyors, directors of nursing, administrators, and other LTC professionals. With all of the challenges faced in long-term care, from the effects of COVID-19 to staffing shortages, our annual conference is an opportunity to come together for high quality education and a sense of community.

This year, a warm welcome is also extended to LTC pharmacists. For the first time ever, the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) will concurrently host an event with the CMDA Annual Conference, led by ASCP CEO/Executive Director Chad Worz, PharmD, BCGP.

This in-person event will require proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination for all individuals participating in-person. Please email your proof of up-to-date vaccination (vaccination and booster documentation) to the following address: PALTC2022@gmail.com. You may send a picture, share with the MyColorado app, or other means. Mitigation protocols will be in place and shared widely to help ensure a safe, healthy conference environment.

A livestream option will be available although the best experience will be in-person. The event center features ample parking as well as several nearby hotels – Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown, Hampton Inn & Suites Denver-Speer – and a convenient RTD stop at Empower Mile High Station.
